As part of the General Data Protection Regulation (known as «GDPR»), the Hotel Artemisia Montmartre has adopted a policy to protect the personal data of Customers materialized by this Charter.
It is applicable to Royal Fromentin as controller.


1. Data Controller
The personal data are collected by the company: Royal Fromentin SAS with a capital of 246,000€ whose registered office is 11 rue Fromentin 75009 Paris – FRANCE, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 326161742.


2. Data collected
We collect and process the following data: 
- Your identity (civility, surname, first names, address, telephone numbers, email, date of birth, IP address). A copy of an identity document may also be kept for the purpose of proving the exercise of a right of access, rectification or opposition or to meet a legal obligation;
- Your browsing data;
- Data relating to your means of payment (bank details, cheque number, bank card number, credit card expiry date, visual cryptogram, etc.);
- data relating to transactions carried out on our websites and directly within our establishments;
- Data relating to the monitoring of the commercial relationship, those necessary for the implementation of loyalty, prospecting, study, survey and promotion actions;
- data relating to the organisation and processing of competitions, lotteries and any promotional operation;
- Geolocation data.

The collection of information on minors will only concern their surname, first name, nationality and date of birth and can only be transmitted by a legally capable adult. Accordingly, it is your responsibility to ensure that your children do not transmit any personal data to us without your permission.

3. Purposes of data processing
The processing of personal data that you provide to us on the website, mobile site, mobile applications or any other medium may have some or all of the following purposes: 
- Adapt and improve our services (satisfaction surveys, claims management, etc.);
- Manage our relationship with our prospects (prospecting, solicitations, etc.);
- Organise competitions, lotteries or any promotional operations;
- Comply with our legal obligations (Policy sheet, etc.);
- Secure and improve your use of our website;
- Manage your requests for access, rectification and opposition;
- Guaranteed for the reservation of rooms.

4. Recipients of Data
The personal data you provide to us on the website, mobile site and mobile applications may be transmitted, within the limits of their respective attributions:
- To hotel employees (Commercial, Revenue Management and Web, IT, Communication, Operations, Legal, Financial, Development, Entertainment, etc.)
- The service providers and authorised partners of the hotel (banks, IT subcontractors, OTAs, lawyers, etc.) who are required to put in place strict confidentiality and data protection measures
- To the competent authorities in accordance with a legal obligation or a legal request from a public authority.
In any case, the information collected through our website is only used and is the subject of external communication for the purposes detailed above or to meet legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Shelf Life
The personal data that we collect from our customers cannot be kept beyond the retention period strictly necessary for the management of the business relationship. 
In addition, customer data used for commercial prospecting purposes are kept for a period of three years from the end of the commercial relationship. 
Those relating to a non-client prospect are kept for a period of three years from the last contact from the prospect.


6. Social Media 
If you use social media features (Twitter, Facebook, Google +, Linkedin, etc.) on our website, and given the sharing of data that this implies, the social media providers may send us information about you that you have chosen to make public when you register, which depends on their respective privacy policies. You can change your corresponding privacy settings and preferences on the websites of these social networks if you wish to discontinue this data sharing. We invite you to consult the privacy policies of these social networks to learn about the purposes of use, including advertising, navigation information that they may collect through these application buttons.


7. Customer Remedies and Rights
In accordance with the provisions of Articles 15 to 21 of Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), the customer has a right of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, portability and opposition.

If you notice an irregularity in the processing of your data, you can lodge a complaint with the National Commission of Informatics and Freedoms («CNIL»).
